Seigle’s supplying cabinets for Chicago’s Admiral at the Lake

October 4, 2011

Seigle’s Cabinet Center has been selected to supply all of the cabinets in the brand new Admiral at the Lake in Chicago. This urban retirement living community is an exciting and stylish place to retire in the city. The project consists of 200 independent living units, 41 assisted living units, and a variety of common areas. We decided to share more about this project by talking with Joe Niewinski the Seigle’s Sales Representative.

What is your role in the project?
As the Seigle’s sales person assigned to this account I work closely with Bovis Lend Lease’s purchasing office coordinating contracts, homeowner changes, and architectural changes, and supplying final cabinet layouts. Working with the field personnel I set up the deliveries, field measure all units, and coordinate cabinet installation.

When will Seigles begin delivering product?
We have been working on this project for over 2 years in the design and negotiation stage. Seigle’s will start shipping cabinets the beginning of November 2011.

Will cabinets be selected by the homeowners or will they be universal throughout the building?
The original standard cabinets have been chosen by the developers. The homeowner is offered a selection of colors. We have also created an upgrade assortment of door styles and colors the homeowner may choose at their final color selection meeting.

What type of cabinets are being installed (or what are the options for
selection)?
The project is being supplied with Aristokraft and Contractors’ Choice Cabinets by Masterbrand.

What do you like best about the project?
It is nice to be working on a project of this size. Also the Lend Lease team has been a pleasure to work with; their attention to detail makes for a smooth running project.

Seigle’s Cabinet Success

September 6, 2011

Gourmet Kitchen and Lower Level Entertainment Area for a Resident in Wynstone of Barrington.

We recently helped to complete an extensive remodel for a customer which included new cabinetry in the kitchen, baths, and a second kitchen/entertainment area by the wine cellar in the lower level. This project was managed by Sally Gange, who has just celebrated her 26th anniversary of employment with Seigle’s. Sally designed and ordered the cabinetry, which turned out beautifully. We asked Sally a few questions to get her take on the project.

Were there any unique requests or challenges in the project?
Unique to this kitchen is the decorative arch toe kicks, leaded glass door cabinets with glass shelves, and custom designed hood to match the homeowner’s desires.

What type of cabinets were selected? Any special features on these cabinets?
They selected Dura Supreme maple painted white in the kitchen and Knotty Alder with heavy distress in the wine cellar entertainment kitchen.

What do you like best about how the project turned out?
I like that the kitchen. It is so bright and crisp.

And it truly is! Check out the project photos below:

Bathroom Cabinets at Hampshire Home a Success!

February 21, 2011

Janis Denman was in the process of remodeling the second level of her home to expand the bathrooms and closets. It came time to select cabinets, and she shopped a few vendors before finding Seigles. She visited the showroom on Davis road in Elgin. “After the first visit, we knew our search was over,” said Denman.

At the initial visit, we showed Denman CAD drawings of potential options for the cabinet layout and finishes. Denman showed us what she liked in the showroom, so we were able to easily put together a package that included everything she wanted. “Another cabinet vendor had assured me I was getting rock bottom prices. The Seigles quote beat their price by far,” said Denman. “And I liked the cabinets even better.”

The cabinets were delivered and installed in early December. “We couldn’t be happier with the entire process. Tracey Paulson, sales and design consultant, was available to answer all of my questions, help me find the best product for my needs, and everything was even delivered ahead of schedule,” said Denman. “I would recommend Seigle’s to anyone in the market for cabinets.”

Here are shots of the cabinets in her new master and guest bathrooms:

Customer Testimonial: Appreciation and Sincere Gratitude for Tracey Paulson

December 20, 2010

A recent testimonial of gratitude for Tracey Paulson, a Seigle’s Cabinet Center employee:

“I want to express my appreciation and sincere gratitude for a job well done by Tracey Paulson.

We moved into the Talamore community in Huntley in May of this year. The kitchen was lovely, but we wanted to personalize and maximize its potential. My husband and I sat down to brainstorm. I was overwhelmed by the choices initially. We called your company and set up an appointment with Tracey. From the beginning she had incredible ideas and vision. I felt immediately at ease and relaxed with the project because she was so knowledgeable, creative, and thorough. She spent a lot of quality time with us. We met with her in the office, with her tremendous insight and information we were able to plan out the kitchen perfectly. Then, she came to our home after her work hours to assist further. She sent us drawings over a course of a few weeks, constantly updating any changes or additions. (more…)
